- For some reasons i cut all the files on my psp and pasted it on my computer. After that i pasted it back on my psp. And then when i open my psp and searched for my files. It says there is no data or there is no tracks.etc so i plug it again to my computer and the files are there but it still says there is no data. Is my psp broken??should i change my memory stick?? Here are some things to know before your PSP-3000 gets bricked while doing something risky on the ChickHEN. Note: The ChickHEN does not brick PSPs! It is kernel mode homebrew that has flash0 access that is used incorrectly on the PSP that can cause a brick. Recently 5.03 ChickHEN has been. If you bricked your PSP, while trying to put a CFW on it, there is currently no way to unbrick your PSP3000! How do you think about the answers? You can sign in to vote the answer. Lift the motherboard up slowly starting from the bottom of the PSP, being careful not to damage the port on top. Pull the motherboard out and remove it from the PSP. The specific motherboard model of this PSP-3000 is TA-090.
The PSP has a smörgåsbord of different motherboards, each with different abilities and restrictions. They all support the same custom firmware and homebrew nowadays, but to a different extent, so it is important to identify which motherboard you use with the below tools and our motherboard table.

Note: Latest version of 6.60 PRO-C is 6.60 PRO-C (Update 3) or higher. Do not use lower versions of PRO-C since they have problems!
Table Notes[edit]
- Infinity is a solution functionally equivalent to cIPL, while being technically different. It exploits a bug in 6.31 and lower, and is thus not supported on the PSP Street (6.50 minimum firmware.)
- Some PSP Identification programs have recognized a non-existent 'TA-090v3' motherboard. This is a typo, it is actually a 'TA-090v2' motherboard. But to reduce confusion, we have added it to the chart with the same attributes as a 'TA-090v2'.

Psp 3000 Unbrick 2017
In order to use PSP identification software, we will need custom firmware (CFW) installed. This is no longer a Chicken-and-Egg problem as life was in the Dark Days, since Temporary Custom Firmware (LCFW) works on any PSP without risk of bricking.
- Method 1: Connect to Wi-Fi. From the XMB (main psp menu), run System -> Network Update to install OFW 6.60.
- Method 2:Download OFW 6.60 from Sony's site, and extract the file. (There are two different versions for PSP and PSP Go!)
- Copy EBOOT.PBP to PSP/GAME/UPDATE/
- From the XMB (main psp menu) run the update from Game –> Memory Stick.
- You have successfully installed OFW 6.60.
- Download 6.60 PRO-C.
- Extract the file.
- Copy the contents of the extracted folder into the root of the Memory Stick (ex. PSP -> ms0:PSP, seplugins -> ms0:seplugins)
- From the XMB (main psp menu), run PROUPDATE from Game - Memory stick.
- Press X to install CFW.
- Delete cIPL Flasher from Game - Memory stick.
- Please note that this is a temporary CFW. You will be back to OFW 6.60 if your PSP runs out of power (not sleep mode). But don't worry, just run FastRecovery from Game - Memory stick and CFW will be back in a matter of seconds!
- You have successfully installed 6.60 PRO-C!
- In theory, you are finished, since custom firmware is already installed to your PSP.
- Continue only if you want to install CFW permanently (which does not bring much benefit anyway) and your PSP motherboard supports cIPL or 6.20 Permapatching (use PSPIdent and check the table).

- Make sure Temporary Custom Firmware or equivalent is installed.
- Download PSPIdent v0.75 and extract the archive.
- Copy the PSPIDENT folder under the /PSP/GAME/ folder in the PSP's memory stick.
- Run PSPIdent from the XMB (main PSP menu), under Games -> Memory Stick.
- PSPIdent will display your motherboard model. Check the motherboard table on this page to see which method is right for you.
- Press Circle to create a screenshot for later use, and keep that picture in a safe place on your computer for reference.
- Press Home to exit PSPIdent.
